In Science this term we have been studying the 5 senses.

Today the boys participated in a lab in which they were given

15 different odors to smell such as honey, mint, vegemite and vinegar.

They each had to make a guess at the odor they were smelling and decide if it was a nice smell or a smell that they didnt like.

Ethan liked the smell of the

mint and the honey

but he thought garlic smelled

like "rotten cheese!"

Once we were finished we compared our answers and found out what each smell really was.

Almost everyone recognised honey, mint and soap.

Vegemite, garlic and cinnamon were the most difficult to predict.
